Kuan Yin, Bodhisattva Goddess of Compassion

$29.95

Kuan Yin, is a short form for Kuan-shi Yin, meaning "Observing the Sounds (or Cries) of the (human) World". Kuan Yin is the Bodhisattva Goddess of Compassion, often associated with freely giving unending sympathy, fertility, health, and magical insight to all who ask. It is Her sacred duty to relieve suffering and encourage enlightenment among humans.

This lavender candle is embedded with pearls and rose petals. The scent is a combination of bamboo, jasmine, palm, and geranium. Lavender symbolizes gracefulness, elegance, calmness, creativity, and optimism. Pearls are associated with charity, personal integrity, and purity, and helping to advance one's state of wisdom. Rose petals signify love.

Meditation: Goddess of compassion, grant me your courage of benevolence, generosity, and empathy so I may neutralize prejudice, cruelty, and hatred as I walk the earth.

Overall description. Coconut/Apricot wax candle hand-poured into an 8-ounce glass container. Each candle is dedicated to a Goddess with a suggested meditation. Handcrafted in Eugene, Oregon, candles have a wooden wick and are offered scented or unscented. Each candle is hand-mixed and hand-poured with love and care, incorporating principles of Wicca, aromatherapy, crystal energy, and color magic. As with all handcrafted products, slight variations in appearance may occur from the candle pictured.

Candle magic illuminates your intention and releases it out into the universe.

My candles are infused with the herbs, crystals, and a meditation script to help you focus your energy. A simple spell to use with this candle is to start by creating a space that is quiet, comfortable, and safe. Visualize your intention and read the meditation as you light the candle. Stare at the flame and continue to send your intent into the light. You can sit in front of it for as long as you like. When ready, close your candle ritual with words of gratitude and a positive affirmation. Let your candle burn as much as needed, making sure you extinguish it before you leave.

Please remember that while powerful, candle magic and intention do not manifest immediate results. Whatever magical ceremony or ritual you decide to perform is simply the messenger whose purpose is to deliver your goals into the arms of the universe—nothing more. You still have to show the cosmos that you are willing to do the work needed to reach your goal.

Candle symbology

A candle embodies the five elements: earth, water, air, fire, and spirit. The wick is earth and keeps the flame constant. The wax, which transforms from a solid to a liquid and then to gas, emulates water’s transmutation properties. Oxygen, archetypal of air, is crucial for keeping the flame lit. The flame is a direct connection to fire, the element of transformation, and rebirth. The fifth element, spirit, is within us and manifests when our intention is placed into the candle and infuses it with our soul.
